Counselling for prevention of sexually transmitted infections (like HIV/AIDS) is also done. Examination and treatment of spouse is an integral part of the management of sexually transmitted diseases.

TREATMENT OF EXCESSIVE SWEATING OR HYPERHIDROSIS

Excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis affects about 3-4% of the population. This can immensely lower one’s self-esteem and reduce the quality of life .

Botulinum toxin injection can now be done to treat this distressing problem. This can stop sweating for a certain period, usually 6-9 months, after which injections need to be repeated.

REMOVAL OF SKIN TAGS, WARTS OR MOLES

This is done under local anaesthesia usin the Radiofrequency or Electrocautery machine. It is a day care procedure and has a very less downtime of about 5-7 days. There is usually no scarring, pigmentation or permanent after effects.
